Airtel Nigeria has required Senior Officer, SMS (Job Code: 5079) for its Lagos office. Successful candidate is reporting to the Head – Value Added Services.
Position Purpose:
Provide management of Person to Person (P2P) SMS and Bulk SMS. This includes developing propositions to drive SMS usage and revenue. Monitor the overall usage of SMS (on-net, off-net and international). Overall ownership of all SMS related items including SMS platform issues and monitoring; SMS Packs and special SMS offerings.
Reporting:
- Ensure best case day-minus-one reporting for SMS revenue, usage
- Work to deliver detailed monthly reports as against AOP and monthly projections (stretch targets)
- Reporting and cascade SMSC platform reports
Educational Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Minimum first degree in IT, Economics, Finance, Marketing. MBA from a recognized institute will be an advantage
- Preferably higher qualification and experience in Financial Analysis/Business Planning or Marketing Product Management
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
- Financially savvy
- High energy person with the ability to organize, manage and deliver key strategic initiatives
- Strong communication skills – both written and verbal
- Project & Program management skills
- Ability to work seamlessly with key stakeholders
- Excellent organizational, interpersonal and networking skills
