Role Summary/Purpose

Verify that equipment is received, manufactured, assembled, tested and repaired within applicable specifications. Monitor and execute calibration of measuring and testing equipment

Essential Responsibilities

QC:

• Verification that equipment is assembled and tested to specified requirements and that all 3rd party inspection activities are complete and accepted
• The maintenance and handover of completed and QC verified build documentation as evidence of product compliance
• The identification and appropriate labelling of non conforming product to prevent its unintended use
• The raising and closing down of Non Conformity Reports (GRRs) to facilitate the control and rework of non conforming product
• Completion of survey reports detailing the condition of field returned equipment to determine the extent of rework and remanufacture
• Generation and Maintenance of QA Inspection and Test Plans
• Compliance with Quality Management System procedures and work Instructions
• Perform goods receive Inspection and file relevant documentation
• Work actively to meet and exceed all personal requirements pertaining to EHS and Quality

QA

• Perform detailed inspections on components manufactured to Vetco specifications.
• Liaise with shop supervision , Quality Engineers and customer / third party inspectors to ensure that all inspections, witness and hold points are correctly identified and signed off as required
• Monitor/verify pressure tests conducted in Vetco Test and Assembly area or on sub contractor’s facility
• The main thing for me will be attitude and willingness to learn and remember stuff!
• Raise non-conformance reports for defective equipment and or tests
• Maintain the working files of all activities relating to Quality
• Experience of Torque Measurement
• Experience of High Pressure Testing
• Experience of High tolerance measurement (.0002″ or less)
• Monitor the calibration status of measuring and testing equipment currently in use within the business area
• Work actively to meet and exceed all personal requirements pertaining to EHS and Quality

Qualifications/Requirements

High school degree or equivalentDesired Characteristics-Product technical knowledge and an understanding of Engineering Drawings,

• Part Specifications, API codes and Factory Acceptance Testing
• The ability to perform detailed dimensional inspection of component parts
• A knowledge of Quality Management Systems and the risks and hazards associated with an assembly and pressure testing environment representatives and competent bodies on matters of quality and final product acceptance-

• Knowledge of Fabrication Inspection Techniques
