Permanent skilled level position in the Manufacturing, Production & Trades industry.

A well established company based in Johannesburg is looking for a Field Service Technician to ensure the highest levels of quality and customer satisfaction.

Main Responsibilities/KPA’s

On-site installation and commissioning mobile range of equipment
Perform on-site periodic and scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and servicing on the full range of equipment
Respond to calls from customers for repair and service work as per schedule
Diagnose/troubleshoot problems on the full range of equipment
Modify and/or update equipment and carry out warranty repairs and replacements
Complete required documentation on all work performed, including service history tracking
Provide on-site operational and safety training for customer’s personnel
Ensure proper control and documentation of parts issued and returned
Ensure proper control of all company issued vehicles, tools and equipment
Maintain company vehicles and tools and equipment to the highest standards and level of serviceability.

Required Experience

Minimum of 3 -5 years of relevant experience
Understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods
Experience in materials handling or mobile equipment

Ability to work under pressure

Required Educational Qualifications

Qualified fitter or qualified mechanic
