Job Description

The Role:

Building a deep understanding of customers, channels and shopper segments in his/her category/ geography and effectively deploy all category mixes in the market, where relevant
Playing a leading role in providing local insight to the Category Brand Building Community
Leading the execution of the non innovation led growth agenda for the Brands in the community
Providing inputs to volume forecasting, financial updates and also monitoring of key indicators to drive brand performance (6Ps) in the category for the Business Unit

Required Skills or Experience

Qualification

A good first degree or an equivalent qualification from a reputable university
Documentary proof of having fulfilled the National Service obligation
A minimum of 2-3 years relevant working experience in FMCG business
Skills/ Competencies:
Candidates must have excellent communication and inter- personal skills
Must demonstrate considerable numeric and analytical skills
Must be proficient in Microsoft Power point, Excel and Word

    IBM SYSTEMS RESOLVER – (IBM-REPRESENTATIVE ON GUINNESS GHANA (ACCRA) SITE) DECEMBER 2011 -PRESENT
    Responsible for the day to day IT requirements of the company, I work on a number of technical, maintenance/system recovery issues, and provide support for over 250 users in Accra for Guinness Ghana.
    I configure and install hardware, software, and peripherals and diagnosed and troubleshoot complications pertaining to workstations, scanners, projectors. Develop and deliver training programs, Maintaining desktop applications, IT security and telecommunication.
    I provide, hardware/software installation, server maintenance, troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues, root cause analysis, backup and restore for workstations in Guinness Ghana. Also I create troubleshooting steps documents for further issues that may arise.

    KEY ACHIEVEMENTS:
     Responsible for diagnosing & resolving hardware, software & end users problems.
     Supports client’s requests via multiple sources such as IT (remedy), phones and emails
     Performs induction for newly employed employees in the organization on behalf of the Information Technology department
     Coordinates with central IBM team, to provide immediate support on pressing technical issues
     Maintaining a wide range of computer hardware and software programs.
     Responsible for daily backups, weekly, monthly and yearly backups
     I ensure workstation are antivirus compliance and prepared both weekly and monthly compliance report
     Ensure data center is safe and secure by managing and reporting daily status on Air conditioners, servers, backups, ups, routers, and MTN modem
     Carry out various pc builds, rebuilds, technical and software installations
     Monitoring and maintaining network and stand alone printers
     Monitoring ticket queues (in remedy tool) and provide services and escalation
     Managing and updating Diageo asset inventory(Spare Pool)
     Document the problem, the action taken and the resolution in a ticket management system(remedy tool)
     I offered a technical support for the building and deployment of vista and windows 7 operating system for over 100 Hp client machine in Guinness Ghana
